This 1919 ABC Sopwith motorcycle is an unrestored, original motorcycle that was at one point owned by Henry Wing, one of the three founding members of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America. The consignor is the third owner. The engine features the flat twin configuration and is said to have influenced many future designs, including those from BMW.
ABC motorcycles, founded as the All British Engine Company in London, was closely associated with the Sopwith Aviation Company. It is believed that 2,200 ABC motorcycles were built under license by the Sopwith Aviation Company. Vehicle is sold with a bill of sale.
