Details

Offered for sale at NO RESERVE from the Leroy Hunter Collection is this 1932 Chevrolet Confederate Sedan. After recent years in storage, this vehicle has been inspected and serviced by Columbia Classic Cars, whose experts also rebuilt the cylinder head, complete with new valves, valve seats, and valve springs. The engine runs very well, making this car a perfect candidate for a wonderful hobby and driver car or for easy restoration to full show condition with some cosmetic work. Overall, this is a sound, solid, mechanically operational automobile.

From the Leroy Hunter Collection

Leroy Hunter was a farm boy, working the same fields his family had worked since the early 1900s and that his sons continue to work today. When he and his wife took over the farm in May 1947, he set to work making it into an efficient agricultural endeavor, winning awards for innovation in soil conservation, forest preservation, herd maintenance, and more. This passion for life translated into his love of classic automobiles, and both his sense of adventure and his dedication to quality are present in the vehicles he maintained. Mr. Hunter was well respected by his community and peers, and was a loving supporter of the Owls Head Transportation Museum. Now is your opportunity to own one of the classic pieces from the eclectic and all-American Hunter Collection.
