This 1941 Chevrolet Stake Body truck, # 1245012763, is a wonderful example of a classic pre-WWII vehicle, and the quality of the frame off restoration shows. Originally this truck was a fire truck from the town of Winter Harbor, Maine. At the time of restoration the frame was sandblasted and painted, the body was restored and the engine went through a complete internal inspection with no problems found. This is a great running and driving vehicle with very good brakes; however, the master cylinder is a bit sticky. With 88,000 original miles, this truck has always been garaged when not in use.
