Lot #109

This speedster has a 1941 Ford Frame, 1939 Ford running gear, and a 1950 Mercury V8 engine. It is VERY FUN and VERY FAST. Assembled approximately in the early 1950’s in the tradition to which these cars were made, combining various manufacturers’ components and speed parts. It was found as a basket case years ago and reassembled by a New Hampshire resident. The engine is a 1950 255 cubic inch Mercury Flathead with Iskenderian cam. Additional twin carburetor Offenhauser manifold and finned aluminum Edelbrock heads come with car. It contains Mercury inverted exhaust headers, coupled to custom pipes and Cherry Bomb mufflers. This car is certainly more about horsepower more than gas mileage. Very fast….. The car build features include"juice” brakes, Studebaker steering wheel. Rare 3.54 gear ratio Ford differential. Hand-built steel body, hood, and fiberglass nose. 10-gallon aluminum racing tank, miscellaneous period correct gauges.
