1956 was the only year of production for the Ford Parklane station wagon, making this vehicle highly sought after by wagon enthusiasts. Although these Fords were based on the ranch wagon design, the two-door Parklane included attractive design and trim features from the popular Fairlane models.
This 1956 Parklane wagon was purchased by its current owner in 2015 after he had spent more than 15 years admiring it locally. It is powered by the V8 optioned engine with a 3-speed transmission with overdrive, and according to the consignor, this wagon runs and drives very well. Options include a radio, heater, spot lights, fog lights, wire wheel covers, power steering, fender skirts and a sun visor. The rear compartment carpet is original, while the remaining interior—including the seats, side panels and carpets—have been replaced. The paint is very nice, and the consignor notes that the chrome and stainless trim are in overall very good condition as well. Sold with a registration.
