This one-owner 1957 “E” code Thunderbird, #E7FH277834, was delivered to Mr. Henry Van Dam on April 30, 1957, from the Gil Weber Motor Company in Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Van Dam kept this car until it was sold to a museum quality collection in New Jersey. The collection owners did a complete restoration 29 years ago. The vehicle changed hands with only 31,986 miles on it when purchased by the current owner. From day one, this Thunderbird has always been kept in a garage or climate controlled storage. Under the hood is the 312 ci “E” code engine option with dual four-barrel carburetors rated at 270 hp. It also comes equipped with an automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes. Only 1,300 Thunderbirds were built with this option; more than half of them are gone today. The consignor also states that this car has comes with the factory build sheet.
