In the spirit of our mission of education, the Museum offers students, volunteers and the general public a wide range of opportunities and resources for learning about transportation history and technologies, including workshops, guided tours and curricula, as well as classroom activities, publications and the resources of our onsite Lang Education Center and Library.
The Strut & Axle is the Museum’s quarterly membership publication. Each issue is comprised of historical and scientific articles, vignettes, remembrances and photographs relating to our Museum, general transportation history and technologies. Redesigned in late 2013, this publication is now a high-quality, full-color magazine featuring beautiful photography and an array of exciting articles from staff, volunteers and guest contributors.
The printed version of the Strut will be mailed free of charge to any teacher, school, library or other non-profit organization requesting it. It is also mailed to all members of the Museum.
Advertising opportunities available in the Strut & Axle, support our museum while reaching a dedicated audience of transportation enthusiasts and museum patrons. For further information on advertising in the Strut & Axle please contact Public Relations Director Jenna Lookner.
