One of 12,000 produced with only 15,200 original miles!
This summer, one lucky winner will drive away in a sleek 2007 Sky Red Line Turbo! Saturn Sky was built on the GM Kappa platform at GM’s Wilmington, Delaware plant that it shared with the Pontiac Solstice and Opel GT.
While the standard production Sky featrued a 2.4 lit Ecotec LE5 engine producing 177 HP the Red Line was significantly upgraded with a 4 cylinder, 2.0 liter turbocharged, direct injected powerplant delivering 260 HP and and additional 96 lb-ft of torque. This additional power was routed to the road via a slick 5-speed manual transmission and a fully independent rear suspension. Very competitive in its class, the Red Line boasted a 0 to 60 time of 5.5 seconds - competing nicely with the 2012 Porsche Boxster S’s time of 5.6 seconds.
Styling of the Sky is based on the Vauxhall VX Lightning concept design and was developed by Franz von Holzhausen, now TESLA’s Chief Designer. Introduced at the 2006 New York Auto Show, the Red Line was built for three years, with a total of 34,000 Sky convertibles produced between 2007 and 2009. Of those, only 12,000 had the Red Line specifications. Don’t miss your chance to own this rare and beautiful piece of automotive history - Enter Today!
