Take a break from holiday shopping this Sunday to visit with Santa and his helpers at OHTM! Children can bring their letters to Santa or write one at the Museum. Other activities will include making ornaments, decorating cookies and other craft stations. At noon, Santa will arrive by air, having temporarily traded his team of reindeer for a Museum aircraft (TBD).
After the traditional holiday story reading, families are invited to gather on Runway 17 as the letters to Santa are packed into the special Polar Air Mailbag and flown by his helpers back to the North Pole. (All flying is weather permitting.) Then the Midcoast Community Band will get everyone in the spirit of the season with a special holiday concert, followed by complimentary refreshments at intermission.
PLUS, check out the extra special savings going on in the Museum Store throughout the day and stock up on gifts for the whole family!
