Special School Field Trip Day (closed to general public)

The museum will be closed to the public, allowing for school groups from across the state to have free rein of the booths and interactives. Through this generous support of sponsors, the museum is able to cover transportation costs for the schools, who will enjoy the day’s festivities at no charge.

Saturday, April 27

STEM FEST Day (FREE to the public)

The museum is open to the public and visitors can enjoy the festival free of cost. This is an opportunity for youth to try their hand at a variety of STEM-based programming, find inspiration and speak with professionals from a variety of fields.

The event runs 10am - 2pm, doors close at 4pm.

Through the help of our Community Partners we are able to have a Field Trip day where the schools of Maine visit and learn about future opportunities! Saturday is a FREE Day where families come together, explore, play, imagine and create with our community partners. STEM Fest is our way of Inspiring Tomorrow’s Pioneers with the help of local and small businesses, Universities, and other organizations that will help our youth learn about STEM Fields! Join us for a fun, busy and exciting day!

Thank you to our sponsors, First National Bank, Maine Technology Institute and Allen insurance for making this event free to the public. Through this generous giving and sponsorship OHTM will also be able to cover transportation costs for the schools to bring students to the Field Trip day on April 26th at no cost to the schools!
