The Owls Head Transportation Museum (OHTM) staff and volunteers have planned a day full of holiday fun with demonstrations, programs, and crafts.

Santa has made arrangements to be on site at OHTM from 10:00AM to 1:00PM, so children will have plenty of time to meet and share a moment with him. There will also be a letter writing station, where children can write their holiday wish lists and deposit them for North Pole delivery.           

Peruse the exhibits as holiday music drifts through the halls. Keep an eye out for crafting tables and demonstrations of some of the museum's largest artifacts! Visit the “Family STEM Center” on site, featuring interactive learning toys and make-and-take crafts! 

Guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item to the museum for this event - with this donation they will receive a ticket to redeem at the gift shop for an extra 10% off the storewide holiday sale!

Featured Activities:10am-1pm

• Cookie decorating & Cocoa—Decorate shortbread cookies into a cookie Snowman with frosting and other festive toppings, plus enjoy some delicious Cocoa!
• Letters to Santa station—Do you have a list of goodies to share with Santa? Come visit OHTM this holiday season and write your wishes and deliver them to Santa!
  
• Create a Light Up Tree Using Circuits—Build a circuit with a button battery powered LED light, all on the back of a cut out tree! This is a great activity to make into a holiday card for families.
  
• Model T Rides—Participants will get to take a riveting ride in one of the OHTM’s Model T cars!
• Meet Santa—Sit with Santa at Santa’s OHTM Workshop. Tell Santa what you are wishing for this holiday season, and give your families an opportunity to snap a picture!
• Fill the Model T for AIO Food Pantry—Everyone is encouraged to bring a non-perishable item to the museum on December 8th for the Holiday Event, with this donation the participant will receive a ticket to redeem at the gift shop for a 10% discount!
• The 1966 “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” movie screening—Movie times: 10am, 10:30am, 11am, 11:30am, 12pm, 12:30pm
