The #1 Airshow in Maine this Year!
Iconic aerobatic acts from across the country join the museum’s historic fleet of aircraft and ground vehicles for a weekend of sky-high entertainment for the whole family. Acts include warbirds, skydivers, antique aircraft demonstrations and more. (Arrive by 12:00 PM to ensure a good view of the main event.)
MAIN EVENT ESTIMATED 1PM - 4PM. All acts are weather dependent.

SCOTT FRANCIS AIRSHOWS—
Scott has been performing in airshows since 2006 currently flying the ultra-high performance MXS aircraft. Today, Scott possesses a surface level aerobatic waiver and flies in more than 30 airshows each year. He particularly enjoys interacting with spectators before and after each show.

Take a ride aboard an historic warbird: a Douglas C-47 "Skytrain"
The American Airpower Museum's Douglas C-47 “Skytrain” will be attending this year’s Wings+Wheels Airshow and offering flights on August 1,2 and 3.
The C-47 flight experience is a chance to take a flight back in time aboard an original military configuration C-47 just as they were when they carried the legendary 101st and 82nd Airborne Paratroopers making history
in the first wave of the D-Day Invasion to liberate Europe on 6 June 1944.
The Scenic C-47 flight experience begins at the Owls Head Transportation Museum facility with a passenger welcome, safety briefing, and aircraft boarding.
Admission to the Owls Head transportation Museum Wings and Wheels Spectacular is required to fly with us and not included in the cost of the flight.
