The Owls Head Transportation Museum (OHTM) staff and volunteers have planned a day full of holiday fun with demonstrations, programs, and crafts. Santa has made arrangements to be on site at OHTM from 10:00AM to 1:00PM, so children will have plenty of time to meet and share a moment with him. There will also be a letter writing station, where children can write their holiday wish lists and deposit them for North Pole delivery. Peruse the exhibits as holiday music drifts through the halls. Keep an eye out for crafting tables and demonstrations of some of the museum's largest artifacts! Visit the “Family STEM Center” on site, featuring interactive learning toys and make-and-take crafts! Guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item to the museum for this event. So, mark your calendars, tell your friends, and we look forward to seeing you on December 7th for OHTM’s Holidays at the Museum!  Featured Activities:10am-1pm - Cookie decorating & Cocoa—Decorate shortbread cookies into a cookie Snowman with frosting and other festive toppings, plus enjoy some delicious Cocoa!
- Letters to Santa station—Do you have a list of goodies to share with Santa? Come visit OHTM this holiday season and write your wishes and deliver them to Santa!
- Model T Rides—Participants will get to take a riveting ride in one of the OHTM’s Model T cars! Weather dependent.
- Meet Santa—Sit with Santa at Santa’s OHTM Workshop. Tell Santa what you are wishing for this holiday season, and give your families an opportunity to snap a picture!

Toys for Tots Drop-off This holiday season, Owls Head Transportation Museum is once again serving as a Toys for Tots drop-off location. Drop-offs accepted starting November 7th through December 8th. We’re collecting new: - Unwrapped gifts for children ages infant through 13
- Colorful blankets
- Books
- Gifts for tweens (Especially appreciated.)
We kindly ask donors to avoid baby dolls, as there’s already an abundance. *Gift cards and high-end electronics are not accepted. 
AIO Food Drive Help Us “Fill the T” for AIO Food Pantry! Our annual AIO Food Drive is underway now through December 14, and we’d love your support. Just like last year, we’re aiming to “Fill the T” with donations—and hopefully beat last year’s incredible 200+ lbs! AIO is currently looking for: - Canned goods
- Pasta
- Snacks
- Coffee/tea
- Condiments
- Bath items
- Toilet paper
Donations can be dropped off at OHTM and placed under the trees in the front lobby. Every item makes a difference—thank you for helping us support our community!
