Our OHTM Team, Ron Quebec (OHTM's NEAA and Events) and James Kalian (OHTM's new Curator) arrived in Owensboro, KY on Wednesday, June 19. For the past couple of days Ron and James have been in the hometown of Nicky Hayden aka the Kentucky Kid, a motorcycle racer, and saw his monument to prove it. They've eaten in "The Fat Monkey Garage" for lunch, socialized in the BlueGrass Music Hall of Fame Parc Fermé, and taken calibration runs, all in preparation.
Wish them luck as their 2,300 mile, timed/endurance--rally-meets-roadshow adventure officially starts tomorrow, June 22.
Welcome them home at the Owls Head Transportation Museum on Saturday, June 29!
