Owl’s Nest introduces little ones to the wonders of science, history, and transportation through playful, hands-on activities. Come & go style activities (can come anytime between 10:30-11:30).

STEM Saturdays

Kindergarten - 8th grade | 10 am - 4 pm
Young explorers from age 5 through early teens (and beyond) are invited to dive into the heart of science, technology, engineering, and math at the Owls Head Transportation Museum. Whether they’re building, tinkering, testing, or imagining the next big invention, STEM Saturdays empower participants to develop critical thinking, problem solving, and real-world connections between yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Free with admission or membership.

Fall Workshops
Ages 4-14 | 9 am - 3 pm
Whether your child is an early learner or heading into their teen years, each workshop blends hands-on STEM exploration with historical insight, using more than 150 years of transportation heritage as a jumping-off point.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Junior Inventors: After School Program
Kindergarten- 8th Grade | 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Join the Science & Industry Center’s Thursday Night STEM program: JUNIOR INVENTORS. Play and learn with hands-on activities geared towards K-8 Families! Free program with admission or membership.
